EDUCATION & TRAINING

JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Fix Delta will focus on more job creation and reduction of job destruction for the youths and other demographics. Ensure more industry relevant job creation with human skills development. Encourage industries and higher institutions partnership programmes. Entrepreneurial schemes and with better support and funding strategies to help create small and micro businesses.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Fix Delta will identify and develop actions and strategy to enable the creation of an ecosystem that will help Delta state achieve a continuous long-term improvement of quality of life through the creation of sustainable communities able to manage and use resources efficiently, able to tap the ecological and social innovation potential of Delta state economy and in the end able to ensure prosperity, environmental protection and social cohesion.

FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT (FDI)

We will bring in Foreign direct investment (FDI) that is relevant to set Delta state industries with the aim of driving economic growth and prosperity for the state

ECONOMIC DIVERSITY

We will look at improving and promoting an economy of mix of industries, sectors, skill levels and employment levels with reference to well thought out economic diversity measures, intended to narrow defined, and the distribution of employment across industries.

HEALTHCARE, PREVENTION & WELLBEING

We will ensure the maintenance and improvement of healthcare via the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease, illness, injury, and other physical and mental impairments in human beings, this will include work done in providing primary care, secondary care, and tertiary care, as well as in public health in villages, communities and cities of Delta state

Income and Savings

Income and savings opportunities is crucial and important to run our daily lives and we want this message instilled in Delta state indigenes and encourage them to explore and access opportunities that will help them generate sustainable income and savings for their future and immediate needs.

Insurance and Pensions

It is important that local Deltans understand the importance of Pension insurance. An insurance contract that specifies pension plan contributions to an insurance undertaking in exchange for which the pension plan benefits will be paid when the members reach a specified retirement age or on earlier exit of members from the plan.

Peace and Stability

The existence of peace, security, stability and good governance is a prerequisite to achieve sustainable economic development. We will establish strategic partnership arrangements to promote good governance and democratization processes in our respective villages, communities and cities of Delta state.

Security and Trust

We will endeavour within our best capacity to build a strong physical security’s infrastructure and strategies to protect the assets and facilities of Delta state and safeguard her indigenes. We will also in like manner develop a trust system that will make Delta state an attractive place to live and do business.

Agriculture and Food Production

The occupation concerned with cultivating land, raising crops, and feeding, breeding, and raising livestock; farming and the production of crops, livestock, or poultry and food product is very important to any state that’s this is one of our top priority to implement and deliver best practice that will enhance and improve agriculture and food product in villages and communities of Delta state.

Effective Institutions

It is important that our local and foreign resident institutions are regulated and governed by policies that will influence effective delivery and ensure a good turn around time. That’s why we will work to ensure these policies and tools are in alignment to actualise the effectiveness and performance level of institutions operating under the umbrella of Delta state region.

Oil and Gas

Our focus in this industry will explore and evaluate current environmental and health issues, how to tackle these issues and put strict monitoring in place to regulate oil and gas activities and put strict policies in place to manage oil and gas income for better use to drive social economic and infrastructure development for villages, communities and cities of Delta states.

Reseach and Development

We will be looking in the direction towards innovations, discoveries, and improvement of products and processes in Delta state through adaptive and inclusive research and development partnerships. Our commitment will drive deep to create enabling for partnerships and collaboration and joint research programmes to facilitate results that will advance Delta state economy.

Tourism

Delta State is the tourism hob of western, southern and eastern Nigeria. Other tourism sites can be accessed easily from Delta State. The state can be accessed by land, water and air with good road network, seaports at Warri, Sapele, Burutu, Koko, and a modern airport at Osubi combined with modern telecommunication facilities. That’s why we will invest to promote Delta state in various capacities / media / roadshows and other media mediums.

SPORTS DEVELOPMENT

Sports development we believe and trust it will provide a platform for youth development. It will help train our youths to understand how to set limits and goals in life, develop friendship, overcoming diversity, understand leadership, become resilience and know the importance of team work. These are the reasons we will make sure we commit to ensure relevant sports development programmes and policies are in place to govern the process of formulation and development.

ADDRESSING CORRUPTION

We will ensure we play a substantial role in helping to make anti-corruption message visible all across Delta state and put strict measures and policies in place to tackle corruption.

Corruption has been one major problem imbedded in our today society from national to state level. We are not ignorant of the fact that we must address corrupt by putting very strong transparent policies and measures in place to tackle the act of corrupt practices at all levels.
