As part of celebrating the World Water Day, the IX INTERECOFORUM Conference on Water for Sustainable Development 2020 scheduled for 19th & 20th March 2020 in Marbella, Spain was cancelled due to COVID-19.
I was scheduled as a Speaker and panelist alongside internationally renown experts (See Pictures of Speakers below) from around the world. Unfortunately, the Pandemic Corona Virus has led to the cancellation.
What is also disappointing is the missed opportunity; the organizers of this great yearly conference had added fund-raising to the program. The proceed of this fund was to be used to build a water project in a community in the Niger Delta region.
Nevertheless, I want to use this medium to thank the Mrs. Anna Solod led team of INTERECOFORUM for the fabulous and laudable preparations. I am convinced that the next event for 2021 will be remarkable.
