Am on my way home! I was in Prague, Czech Republic for two mission, the first was to negotiate the acquisition of a sporting complex on behalf of a friend and the second was to discuss areas of possible collaboration with the Czech Football Federation (FACR).
Several of the meetings were done behind closed doors and afterwards I was given a tour of the Football Federation Musuem. I also had meeting with official of one of the biggest clubs in Czech, the Sparta Prague FC. I was allowed access into their stadium.
We have agreed that I will arrange Delta State U-17 selected side to play against the Czech🇨🇿 U-17 National Team in Prague and the return match will be played in Delta State at a date we will agree upon when I visit Prague again to finalize all discussions.
The mission was a huge success and the benefit of both assignments will be for the young Football talents of the the Niger Delta region and talents from Delta State. The idea is to give our young talents without help and connections an opportunity to showcase their talents to the world.
As a Governor, our young Football talents will get several opportunities through my international contacts with Football clubs, international scouts and National Football Associations across Europe. If you are a young Football talent or a family of a talent, choose the right person to be your Governor and the benefit will be obvious.
