>Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.
There are many types of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, and bi-polar disorder. This has become prevalent in Nigeria and demand urgent intervention.
This is why Legionnaire for Mankind’s Health brought professionals and experts from the medical fields to Munich, Germany as speakers through a conference tagged “Empowering Mankind’s Potential!”
The Founder/Executive Director of Legionnaire for Mankind’s Health, Prof. Dr. Ernst Josef FRANZEK delivered the keynote address on “Causes of Human Aggression, Addictive and Antisocial behaviors.”
Other speakers included, Prof. Dr. Peter Falkai, President of the European Psychiatric Association (EPA), Prof. Dr. Marcelo Cetkovic, Vice President of the Argentinian Psychiatric Association (APA), Prof. Dr. Bruno Pfuhlmann, Dr. Piet Jansen of Yes We Can Clinic in The Netherlands and Dr. Fred Kruidbos, an Ecological Researcher and Adviser.
The conference was moderated by Comrade Dr. Sunny Ofehe, the Secretary-General of LMH. Other special guests at the conference were Mr. Jan Willem Poot, CEO of Yes We Can Clinic in The Netherlands, Mr. Diederik Bos, CEO of Youngster Clinic in The Netherlands and others.
