In this COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in Nigeria, there has been outcry from poor and vulnerable citizens who cannot feed.
In my village of Iyede Kingdom in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, the call for food to the needy keeps reverberating.
My Foundation “Sunny Ofehe Foundation” in collaboration with “Legonnaire for Mankind’s Health” made a donation of bags of rice, cartons of Indomie noodles and several face masks to the women, old and vulnerable in all 17 communities, the Iyede Progressive Union executives and the traditional King of Iyede as palliatives.
Besides that, we also give away some of the foodstuffs in Benin-City, in my family compound street in Ughelli where I grew up. We may not have enough but Let us support those in need at this critical times.
