It was a great honour for me to have been made a DISTINGUISHED FELLOW at the Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE) Centre for Sustainable Development.
I was also given the privilege to plant a tree in front of the academy’s icon building as a memory and symbol of my fight for a Sustainable Niger Delta environment.
I wish to thank the Management and staff of this great institution for finding me worthy of such reward. I take this as a very big responsibility, with a call to do more for the academy and Niger Delta region.
