Finally my campaign manifesto has been unveiled and introduced to the Press at the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State chapter in Asaba.
I was accompanied by our Young Progressives Party (YPP) Delta State Working Committee members and also some contestants. Among the highlights of my promise to Deltans are;
– Social benefit to 1 million under-privileged Deltans at a minimum of 10,000 naira.
– Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) of US$26 billion dollars to Delta State
– Create 250,000 new jobs
– Complete eradication of all taxes, levy or charges on market traders, tricycle riders and hawkers
– Free Medical and Healthcare services to pregnant women and children under 5 years.
– Creation of Ministry of Diaspora Affairs to be headed by a Deltan in the Diaspora
– Setting up an Economic hub in Rotterdam, The Netherlands to facilitate FDI and external revenue generation for the State.
