As those of you who are very close to me already know, I am a firm believer and proponent of gender equality. I have always affirm the believe that women have a special role to play in our day to day governance and as such must be given the space to bring in their motherly responsibilities.
On this premise, it wasn’t a difficult task for me to opt for a woman as my Deputy in the 2023 election. I herewith present Barrister (Mrs.) Eloho Chalele Edafe as my Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in the 2023 Delta State Governorship election.
Barrister Mrs. Eloho Chalele Edafe from Ekrokpe in Ughelli South Local Government of Delta State. She is a lawyer by profession and holds the following degrees; LL.B, B.L, LL.M, PNM, PH.D IN VIEW.
With a resource person like her, we can implement our policy on Agriculture, Education, Healthcare and most importantly our pregnant mothers and their infant babies. My administration will invest hugely in Primary Healthcare in other to reduce our infant mortality rate where three out of every five infants dies upon delivery.
She will become the first lady to ever occupy the State Executive seat, a feat we should have achieved long before now. I am appealing to all the women of Delta State to support this union for a greater Delta. Let #FixDelta together and the Party is YPP.
