Finally, a few family members and close friends said my 50th birthday shouldn’t go without celebration, no matter how small it will be. Therefore, following the corona regulations a few people honored me over the weekend.
Despite making it little, the few people present were continentally represented with Mr. Samson Siasia, the former Super Eagles Player and coach coming from Nigeria, my friend and Ijaw born Mr. Isaac Tee from the United State, my big brother Chief Olorogun Humphrey Oyeye and the wife from the United Kingdom, Mr. Bakar S. Turay and his fellow friends from Germany, Mr. Oma Akatugba Football commentator and pundit, Mr. Ezico Lala from Belgium, Mr. IG Brown Egbochie from France.
In The Netherlands I had my good Dutch friends and business associates Mr. Christiaan Dekker and his lovely wife Mrs. Saskia Dekker-van Der Graaf, Shipping magnate Mr. Henk Kater and his partner Irina, also present is the longest serving Member of the Dutch Parliament Mr. Harry van Bommel, Former Super Eagles Player and Feyenoord Rotterdam legend Mr. Mike Obiku and the wife.
Also in attendance are my good friend Mr. John Ikejiora Franciand his wife, my mentor and leader in Rotterdam Mr. Modestus Igwe and my friend from childhood Mr. Anthony Evovo and his wife, Mr. Chris Obozuwa and the wife, Dr. Fire from Amsterdam and Mr. Chris Iyakoro.
Finally also present is my mentor and leader/friend whose birthday was also last Saturday Prof., Dr. Ernst Josef Franzek. Kindly join me to wish this lover of the African continent a big birthday wishes. Long you will live Dr. Franzek.
Words are not enough to thank you all including those I couldn’t mention their names. Also my thanks to those of you who sent me birthday wishes through social media, sms and phone calls. May God richly bless you all for standing with me and my family.
